3. Scope and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions
- The scope of these Terms and Conditions extends to the parking fee payment intermediation service and the PARKING+ package provided by the Service Provider through the Interface.
- Before finalizing the order/payment, the User is required to familiarize themselves with the GTC. The use of the service is conditional upon the explicit acceptance of the GTC (e.g., by ticking a checkbox).
- The Service Provider reserves the right to modify the GTC. The modification enters into force upon publication on the Platform. As a general rule, the modification does not affect contracts already concluded.
4. Conclusion of Contract by Electronic Means
- The User initiates the start of parking and then the payment by providing the necessary data (in particular: zone code, license plate number, email address).
- By initiating and successfully completing the payment, the User makes an offer to use the service. The contract is concluded upon successful payment confirmation and the system message indicating the start of parking.
- The Service Provider may send electronic confirmation of the contract/parking to the provided email address (e.g., start/stop of parking, link to receipt).
- The language of the contract: Hungarian. The Service Provider may provide information in other languages; in case of discrepancies, the Hungarian text shall prevail.
5. Subject and Operation of the Service
- As a reseller of NM Zrt., the Service Provider intermediates the payment of the parking fee and the electronic initiation/termination of parking entitlement.
- Parking via the Platform is available exclusively together with the PARKING+ package. The PARKING+ package contains functions that support and facilitate the parking process; a PARKING+ fee is charged for its use (see point 6).
- Parking fees, zone rules, validity conditions, and control systems basically operate according to the rules of the local parking operator/NM Zrt. system.
- The Service Provider is not a parking operator; typically, the competent operator is entitled to review fines/notices resulting from violations of parking rules.
6. Fees, Pricing, Information
- The User pays the parking fee and the PARKING+ fee. The payable items are clearly displayed before payment, with the parking fee and the PARKING+ fee shown separately.
- The amount of the parking fee is typically determined by the zone/operator; the Service Provider displays it on the Platform based on the available data. The Service Provider does not charge a convenience fee in addition to the parking fee.
- The PARKING+ fee is the independent consideration for the functions supporting and facilitating parking (PARKING+ package), not a parking convenience fee. The Service Provider is entitled to modify its amount; the modified fee applies to new transactions following its publication on the Platform.
- Currency: the currency displayed on the Platform (typically HUF). If multiple currencies are available, the currency selected at payment shall apply.
7. Payment (Barion or Stripe)
- Bank card payment is made through the displayed payment service provider (Barion or Stripe) on the Platform. The identity of the payment service provider is visible before starting the payment.
- The Service Provider does not process or store bank card data; card data are provided and processed on the secure interface of the payment service provider.
- In case of unsuccessful payment, the initiation of parking may fail. The User is required to ensure that parking has actually started (confirmation on the Platform and/or by email).
- Credits/refunds related to payment are initiated, where justified, according to the rules of the payment service provider and banking processing. The conditions for refunds are also covered in point 10 and point 13.
- Parking data: parking zone (zone code), license plate number (and where necessary: country code, vehicle category).
- Notification data: email address.
- If an invoice is required: billing name, address, (for companies) tax number.
- For payment: bank card data (on the Barion/Stripe interface).
8. Starting, Stopping, Extending Parking
- Starting: The User initiates parking by providing the zone code and license plate number, then completing the payment (parking fee + PARKING+ fee). Parking is considered started when it is confirmed on the Platform and/or the User receives an email notification.
- Stopping: The User can stop parking using the stop function available on the Platform. Confirmation of the successful stop will appear and/or an email notification will be sent.
- Extension: technically, an extension may mean starting a new parking period. In this case, the previous parking session is closed, and the new parking session continues from the time of the extension. As a result, the fee for the previous period may be calculated proportionally.
- User verification: it is the User's responsibility to start parking for the correct zone and license plate, and to check the parking status (active/stopped).
- Alternative payment: if the Interface is not operational for technical reasons, the User is not exempt from the obligation to pay the parking fee; in such cases, it is recommended to use the on-site machines or other official payment methods.
9. Rights and Obligations of the Parties
9.1. Obligations of the Service Provider
- The Service Provider provides the online interface necessary for using the service, and after payment – based on system feedback – assists in starting/stopping the parking.
- Within the PARKING+ package, the Service Provider provides parking support functions (notifications, status tracking, receipt, etc.).
- The Service Provider may send notifications about parking events to the provided email address.
9.2. Obligations and Responsibilities of the User
- The User guarantees the accuracy and up-to-dateness of the provided data (especially: zone code, license plate, email).
- The User is obliged to comply with parking regulations (e.g. correct zone, time limits, vehicle category, special rules for indoor parking).
- The User is obliged to ensure that the parking has started, and must also check the stopping of the parking.
- The User may use the service for their own use; direct resale is not permitted.
10. Distance Contract, Withdrawal/Termination (Consumer)
Legal framework: in the case of a consumer contract concluded at a distance, the general rule is a 14-day right of withdrawal/termination; however, for services – if the consumer expressly requests the commencement of performance – the exercise of this right may be limited, and the consumer may be required to pay a proportional fee.
- Immediate commencement of performance: by starting the parking, the User requests the Service Provider to commence the provision of the service immediately.
- Explicit consent and acknowledgment: in the case of a consumer, before payment the User declares (e.g. by checkbox) that
- they request the immediate commencement of the service; and
- they acknowledge that after the performance of the service, they may lose their right of withdrawal/termination.
- Withdrawal/termination in case of service: if the User (consumer) exercises their right of termination after the commencement of performance, they may be required, within the legal framework, to pay the proportional value of the service already performed. In the case of parking, the service is typically fulfilled within a short time (it is completed when parking is stopped).
- Practical consequence: after starting the parking, the User may stop the parking (see section 8.2), which corresponds to the actual termination of the service. In this case, fees are settled based on the actual parking time and the PARKING+ fee.
- Non-consumer (business): in the case of businesses, the consumer right of withdrawal/termination does not apply.
Note: the above information is consumer information adapted to the nature of the service. In the case of an individual dispute, the specific transaction and system logs will be examined.
11. Liability and Limitations
- To the extent permitted by law, the Service Provider excludes liability for damages, fines, or surcharges resulting from incorrect data provided by the User (especially incorrect zone code, license plate, email).
- The Service Provider is not liable for damages arising from problems related to the User’s bank card, account, bank authorization, balance, or from the systems of the payment service provider/bank.
- The Service Provider is not liable for errors or outages within the sphere of cooperating third parties (e.g. mobile network, bank, payment service provider, NM Zrt., parking operator), if the error cannot be attributed to the Service Provider.
- For changes in parking fees and regulations (e.g.fee increase, zone modification, time limits) the Service Provider is not liable; the Interface displays information for informational purposes based on the available data.
- The Service Provider strives for continuous availability but does not guarantee error-free, uninterrupted operation. Service outages may occur due to maintenance or force majeure.
12. Invoice/Receipt, Documents
- The Service Provider may provide the User with an electronic document/certificate regarding parking events and payment (typically via a link sent by email or in downloadable form).
- In case of invoice request, the User is required to provide accurate billing information. The Service Provider is not liable for damages resulting from incorrect data to the extent permitted by law.
13. Complaint Handling, Dispute Resolution
- Submitting a complaint: The User may primarily contact the Service Provider’s customer service with their complaint:
- Email: [email protected]

- Administration: The Service Provider investigates and substantively responds to complaints in accordance with consumer protection regulations, typically in writing (by email).
- Conciliation body: In the event of a consumer dispute, the User may initiate proceedings before a conciliation body. Jurisdiction may be determined by the User’s place of residence/domicile/registered office or the Service Provider’s registered office.
- Authority: Depending on the nature of the complaint, proceedings before the consumer protection authority may also be initiated.
- EU ODR platform: The European Commission’s former online dispute resolution (ODR) platform ceased to operate as of July 20, 2025; the Service Provider does not provide a link to the ODR platform.
14. Data Processing
- The Service Provider processes personal data in accordance with the currently effective Privacy Policy.
- The purpose of data processing is in particular the provision of the service, communication, sending of documents, prevention of abuse, and fulfillment of legal obligations.
- Bank card data is processed in the payment service provider’s (Barion/Stripe) system; the Service Provider does not store card data.
15. Final Provisions
- For matters not regulated in these GTC, the currently effective Hungarian laws shall apply.
- If any provision of the GTC is deemed invalid or unenforceable, this does not affect the validity of the other provisions.
- The Service Provider and the User strive for the amicable settlement of disputes. In the case of consumers, the mandatory jurisdiction rules set out by law shall apply.
