New parking regulations in Balatonföldvár: expanded paid zones

Significant changes took effect in Balatonföldvár’s parking system on May 1, 2025. Based on the municipality’s decision, parking in all zones of the city has become paid, applicable throughout the entire year, every day from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
The paid parking areas have also been expanded: from now on, Gábor Áron Street is included among the paid zones, meaning that vehicles parked there must also pay a parking fee.
Alongside these changes, the town has made the City Card — available to local residents and regular visitors — more favorable by reducing its fee. The municipality’s goal with this move is to make it easier for locals to adapt to the new parking system while regulating city parking more effectively during the summer tourist season.
