Parking in Sopron

There are several paid parking zones in Sopron, so it is advisable to check before departure which zone the given part of the city belongs to. Parking fees and regulations may vary by zone, and current information may change from time to time.

In Sopron’s paid parking zones, parking fees generally apply between 08:00 and 20:00. Areas closer to the city center have higher hourly rates, while more distant zones usually offer more favorable rates.

Several parking zones are available in the city. In Zone I, the hourly rate for passenger cars is 560 HUF, with a maximum parking time of 180 minutes. In Zone II, the hourly rate for passenger cars is 420 HUF, while in Zone III it is 300 HUF. In some zones, different rates may apply to other types of vehicles, such as buses or small trucks.
