Free public parking in Budapest during the holidays

Public parking in Budapest during this year's holidays will be free of charge, similar to the practice of previous years. However, the new thing is that from December 23rd, Saturday morning, you don't have to pay for parking.

Parking in the parking zones will be free of charge from the start of operation on December 24 of the given year until closing on January 1 of the following year, with the exception of a few areas:

• In the 1st district on Dísz tér.
• On the section of Hunyadi János út between Szabó Ilonka utca and Dísz tér.
• On the section of Palota út between Dísz tér and Lovas utca.
• On Margitsziget, in the northern parking lot and in hotel waiting areas.
